If you're a community-minded individual who values independent thinking, action, compassion, and social awareness, Unity Day is for you. Organized by the Latino Policy Forum, Latino Unity Day marks a powerful 15-year journey of advocacy, empowerment, and unity within the Latino community.

Founded to elevate Latino voices and tackle pressing issues, this annual gathering has grown into a dynamic space where community leaders, allies, and advocates come together to connect, learn, and spark meaningful change.

I'll be honest—before attending, I felt overwhelmed and disheartened. The constant political attacks on our rights had taken their toll. I was exhausted, on the brink of disengagement. But when I tell you I left Unity Day with a renewed sense of vigor, purpose, and hope—I mean it.

Let’s not sugarcoat things: the current political system wasn’t built with everyone in mind. We're feeling it in real-time—whether it's rising grocery costs, the stripping away of federal resources, or the silencing of organizations trying to do good. Yet amidst all of this, there is hope. And that hope was palpable at Unity Day. The sense of camaraderie, the energy, the vision for what can be—it was real.

We deserve to be seen. We deserve to fight for a better future. And we deserve policies that reflect our lived realities. This isn’t just about Latinos—it’s about justice for all marginalized communities.
